Policies

Parking spaces are unassigned and first come, first serve; each household is allowed up to two vehicles to be parked within the cluster.

All vehicles parked within the property must have current Virginia licenses, inspection certificates, and registration. Overnight guests with out-of-state licenses should use street parking or they risk being towed at the owner's expense. Residents should ask guests to park on Olde Crafts Drive, especially on weekends or for parties.

When at least four inches of snow falls, each household may clear one space and use it exclusively for a week, or until the snow has melted to a depth of two inches, whichever comes first.   

Trash & Recycling 

• Trash is picked up on Monday and Thursday mornings. 

• Recycling is picked up on Wednesdays. 

• Yard waste is picked up on Saturdays.
  Please put containers out no earlier than dusk the day before pickup. Please retrieve your containers the same day as pickup.

Glass Recycling

Glass can be deposited at the Purple Bins 2609 Fox Mill Rd. 

Large Items 

It is the responsibility of the homeowner  or resident to dispose of these large items such as mattresses and sofas. Refrain using the curb as dump - Instead try:

• Taking it to Recycling and Trash Locations and Hours | Public Works and Environmental Services (fairfaxcounty.gov)

• Join a Reston Shares (S Reston) on Facebook and give it away

• Give it away on Craigslist

• Hire a junk removal service

Common Area Usage 

Storage of private property and trash is not allowed on common areas. 

Pet Waste

Scoop the poop. There are more than thirty furry friends in the neighborhood! Pet owners please pick-up after your pets and throw the waste in your household trash. 

Leash Laws

Please ensure you have your dog on a leash if it is outside of your property.
